$2K brand sprints, 60% margin
A two-person studio productized brand identity into a fixed-price $2K, five-day sprint — AI handles exploration breadth (300 directions overnight), the designers handle judgment and refinement. They shared real numbers; eleven sprints sold in the first quarter.
Fixed-price productized design only works when exploration cost collapses — this is the business model the tools actually unlock.
The how
- Day 1: intake call becomes a structured creative brief via a Claude-assisted questionnaire.
- Overnight: ~300 directional explorations across logo territory, type pairing, and palette — batch-generated, then auto-contact-sheeted.
- Day 2: the designers kill 290 of them. The surviving 10 get human refinement in Figma.
- Day 3–4: three directions presented; client picks; refinement.
- Day 5: guidelines PDF generated from a master template, copy drafted by Claude against the brief, edited by the founders.
- Numbers shared: $2K price, ~14 hours of human time per sprint, ~60% margin, 11 sold in Q1.
Run it back
The pipeline is replicable in a week. The defensible part is the kill rate — clients pay for the 290 noes.
